Segmentix is a invaluable study tool for all art students, photographers and designers. It simplifies any type of photography into its core values and reduces non-important details using specially developed natural Segmentation.

The result image can be used alone but more importantly it can be used as a study aid by computer artists, graphic designers, photographers or art students because it remove any distractions from photo and guide the viewers focus to the essence of the image.
The natural segmentation process is very similar to the way an artist simplifies a scene when painting.

An artist can use Segmentix as their sketch book to develop ideas that already look paintery and give a high impression of how the final art will look like. They can also use it directly as a background trace layer from which the computer art will be made.

A photographer can use Segmentix to judge the artistic quality of their photography and train their photographic vision. Our brain gets distracted by the high amount of fine texture surfaces on photos and it is often not being able to "see forrest for the trees". In other words we may be drawn towards the textures and colors and unable to correctly judge the essence of what makes great image.

And there is also interesting "side-effect": Any traces of noise, no matter how strong, will be eliminated.
If you later vectorize or trace photos on your computer, you will find that images prepared with Segmentix makes the job a childs play.

It takes less than a minute and you can watch it to work, you can pinch zoom closer and move around the image during the process to see how it is changing into its simplified form.

Note: the resolution may appear lower but this is a computer generated image with absence of any photo noise which ultimately works same as a photo of higher resolution. However in next update we will increase the resolution (or give option to switch to higher rez). Any increase of resolution unfortunately does increase the processing time.

Tip 1: Good for portraits, still life and everything else. You can use even really noisy photos in bad conditions - it will completely hide and cover up any traces of photographic noise.
Tip 2: A good composition and interesting light goes a long way for a photo to have painterly qualities.
